After my official diagnosis, doctors prescribed Prednisone to suppress my immune system. You can’t be on Prednisone long term due to the side effects. Fortunately, I was able to transition to another immunosuppressant called IMURAN also known as Azathioprine which was developed by two European scientists in the 50s.

This was a miracle drug for me with minimal side effects, and it suppressed my immune system which prevented a liver transplant at that time.

I was able to live a normal active life for 20 years until my body started rejecting it in spring of 2018.
